Let go and move forward

We must let go of the past to move forward. When a hot air balloon is taking off, there are sandbags. Those sandbags allow people to get in them. It will never take off unless those sandbags are cut. We are still holding on to the sandbags that keep us from getting in the air. Are we holding on to people, places, or things that are holding us down? It’s time to cut them out of our lives!!!

We are still growing

Just because we don’t see it doesn’t mean it is not there. Even though we don’t see any plants above the ground there is still growth. While it is under the ground, it is preparing to deal with life outside its protective place. When it is ready it comes out for us to see, it can then take the strong winds and rain. It can also take the hot sun beaming down on it. If we just keep on growing where we are, we will reach our goal. We are developing a strong root system to deal with life as it comes.

Pack the dirt under your feet

I heard this story about this donkey that was stuck in a well. The farmer threw dirt to bury the donkey. The donkey would pack the dirt that the farmer threw in the well. What if we used the things that were meant to take us out and turned them into the thing that brings us out of the so-called trouble in our lives. We might be just like that donkey who came out of that well by using the dirt that was meant to bury him.

Keep moving

If we stop moving, we will never reach the light at the end of the tunnel. It may be dark now. We have GPS to guide us where we are going. Our life has a GPS System also. That GPS System does not always reroute to fit the direction we want to go. Are we listening to the GPS System in our lives? The way may be hard to our eyes, but the end result is that we are ready for want is to come our way. Let’s keep moving on to Victory!!!!

A light at the end of a tunnel

stop and breathe and slow down

Take time to stop and breathe and slow down sometimes. If we go too fast, we just may miss some important fact that could lead to our Victory. Sometimes things are being set up for our Victory. Do we have the patience to wait and let things progress?

Stop. Breathe, & Check-in

Time to be repotted

When plants’ roots grow and the pots are to small, the plants have to be repotted. Sometimes the pots have to be broken to free the plants. Sometimes the plants are stuck to the small old pots. In our lives, we sometimes have to be repotted. When situations change suddenly in our lives, that is a repotting experience. Let’s not fight the repotting experiences in our lives. Let’s embrace them and grow from them.

Stay under the umbrella of Faith

When the rains of depression, anxiety, doubt, test, and trials come down upon us, we should open our umbrella of faith or put on our raincoat of Faith. When we do this the waters of trouble and bad situations, don’t touch us. They are still there, but they will not last permanently. The Sun is going to shine again.

A Strong Foundation

The foundation of a building allows it to stand in the storm. The building itself may take some damage, but it can be rebuilt on that strong foundation. How strong is our foundation in our lives? What is it made of? Is it made of trust in someone or something we can depend on? We must know that we can make it through anything that comes our way. We can with a strong foundation.

Cut the sandbags

We can’t let the sandbags of a hard time, tests, trials, and bad situations keep us from flying the hot air balloons in our lives. The sandbags are there to hold it down so we can get in. There comes a time when we must cut them loose to take off. Are we holding on to something that we must let go to go forward?
